  1. I love your comparisons! I wouldn’t have thought of how his writing is similar to O’Conner’s in depth and meaning. I love Wilson’s hero-inspiring books, and even though I don’t generally like Westerns, I thoroughly enjoyed the book and felt comfortable passing it on to my almost 9-yo son today.

  2. Thank you Carolyn! I too am surprised by how appealing this Western is. I am not really a Westerns girl but The Lonesome Gods was so good that as soon as this one started it felt familiar.

    Thank you for the compliment about the comparisons. My learning style or vision of the world is always by comparisons. I know what something is by what is like but not. Sort of quirky, I know. 🙂
